Chef Fred's Fig and Ruby Port Jam

Ingredients:

• 2 lbs fresh black mission figs, quartered

• 1 cup ruby port

• 1 cup suga

• 1 lemon, zest and juice

• ¼ tsp cinnamon

• ¼ tsp nutmeg

Instructions:

1. Combine lime juice and honey.

2. Combine all other ingredients and toss with lime/honey mixture.

3. Salt and pepper to taste.

4. Serve as an amazing compliment to shrimp tacos.
